How do I register for a course?
Visit the Courses page and select your course. Complete payment through the checkout process. Be sure to enter any coupon codes. You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately. Links to the Professional Development Centre are also found on the OPSWA website and social bios. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for refund or cancellation policy.
Do I need an OPSWA membership?
No. Anyone can register for most courses offered through the Professional Development Centre. However, an active OPSWA membership is required to access courses listed under the “Members Only” category filter.
How do I access course materials?
Course materials are available inside the PDC portal. Log in using the email you registered with.
Materials appear once the course has been paid for.
Zoom meeting links and exams are available in the online course.
Course materials remain available in your PDC portal account for lifetime reference.

How do I access my Zoom session(s)?
After payment, you’ll have access to begin your online course. Zoom links are found in the “Live Session” module. Use the same name and email you used during registration so we can verify attendance.
What do I need to complete the course?
Attend all required Zoom sessions and complete the final exam (if applicable). Certificates are claimed and issued automatically once all requirements are met. These actions will require access to high-speed internet, a connected device and the online course found in the Professional Development Centre.
How do I receive my certificate?
Certificates are issued automatically once you’ve completed all required course steps or passed the final exam. A “Claim Certificate” button will appear in your course dashboard—click to download your personalized PDF certificate. Each certificate includes a verification link confirming its authenticity and can be shared directly on social media to celebrate your achievement.
Do I need previous experience ?
There’s no need to have any prior knowledge for courses. We'll teach you from the ground up you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills you need. Some course will be a refresher on basic PSW training, others will dive deeper into specific topics.
