Learners explore the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of end‑of‑life care, emphasizing compassion, dignity, and communication. Drawing from A Model to Guide Hospice Palliative Care and current Canadian frameworks, participants learn to recognize signs of decline, manage symptoms, support families, and uphold ethical and professional standards.
The course empowers PSWs to provide holistic, respectful care that honours each client’s values and choices.
